Trubbs Wother and Ffring

Here is some 'concept art' for three of the hares we're going to be seeing in Season 4. Presenting:

Trubbs, Wother, and Ffring.

Now I had this pic for quite awhile, so finally I decided to color it in and submit it for any comments/whatever.

As you can see, I based their appearance heavily on Basil, and NOT on that... that... *thing* that calls itself Ballaw. Ugh, Nelvana really messed up on Ballaw's appearance, he looked ridiculous! Ahem. Anyway...

I made them all look the same because that's how the hares appear to me when I'm reading about them - except when the book clearly gives them a different description. Besides, the way how the three of them interacted with one another made me wonder if they were brothers (maybe triplets).

And also, I gave them the 'trio colors' so we can all tell them apart. And in case you don't know what I mean by 'trio colors', have you ever noticed how a lot of animated trios wear red, blue and green? i.e. Alvin and the Chipmunks; Hewey, Dewey and Louie; Flora, Fauna and Merryweather; etc.

I gave Trubbs the reddish tunic because he always seemed to be the leader of the group, and the one in red always seems to be the leader.

Wother is the one in green, simply because when I thought about what color he'd wear, green immediately came to mind.

Ffring was left with the blue - and also, it might be noted that his tail is missing; but that's canonically correct, because he loses his bobtail while battling searats with Martin and Boar.

Ffring: My tail! My tail! Its GONE! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Trubbs/Wother: Ah, bad luck there, laddie! ...well, at least we'll always know who Ffring is.

Ffring: *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!*

Heh heh. Anyway...

Hm, its kinda funny, the stances the three hares are taking: a front-view, a side-view, and a back-view. Its almost like a character sheet - only its not.
